Arul Anandar College, an autonomous Jesuit Institution affiliated to the Madurai Kamaraj University has been reaccredited at ‘A’ Grade with CGPA of 3.66. It offers 15 UG courses, 6 PG courses, 2 M.Phil courses, 3 Research Programmes and 10 Certificate courses. The college is a pioneer and forerunner in providing quality education to the rural poor and marginalized sections of society and it is situated 23 kms away from Madurai city. The campus, spread over 38 acres, in a serene and green rural setting, offers the students an ideal atmosphere to enhance their personal growth and knowledge.

About the Department

The Department of Computer Science and Applications aims to provide a high quality degree programme that ensures the students to integrate theory & practice, recognizes the importance of abstraction and appreciates the value of efficient design created to meet clearly developed requirements.This programme is intended to prepare students for lifelong learning as they undertake professional careers in computing and research. The prime focus is to promote the effective integration of technology with state-of-the-art facilities in teaching and research activities. The course focuses on problem solving, design, development and application of various emerging technologies.

About the Conference

Computer Science and Information Technology is promising field where content research is carried out from the day of its advent.The contributions of these fields to mankind are remarkable and immeasurable.The bond between computers and mankind increases day by day ,that in turn creates opportunity for new and innovative findings in computer science and Information Technology. This conference is designed to bring out the future research ideas in recent Innovative Computing Technologies. The goal of this conference is to be a premier venue for students, researchers, academicians and industry practitioners to share new ideas, research results and their predictions on what would be the future research areas/topics in Computer Science and Information Technology.

  1. Bestowal de Papier (Paper Presentation)

    • Maximum two participants per team
    • Duration of Presentation is 10 minutes (7 mins Presentation+ 3 minutes queries)
    • LCD projector will be provided

    • One participant per team
    • Problem will be based on C++
    • Time Duration 45 minutes
  3. Movie Box (Short Film)

    • Certificates only provided for maximum 8 participants.
    • At least 4 of them should act in that film.
    • The film should be edited and Dubbed by the team members only.
    • Maximum duration of the short film is 10 minutes and 5 minutes for queries.
    • Decision of the judges will be final.
  4. App Warriors (Application Development)

    • One participant per team
    • Problems will be based on C++ or JAVA
    • Time duration is 1 Hour
  5. Creative Spiders (Web Design)

    • A team of two members must design a website.
    • Theme will be given on the spot.
    • Images will be provided.
    • Time Duration -1 hour.
    • The standard tools for designing are HTML, CSS, PHP and WampServer
  6. Brain Fusion (Quiz)

    • 2 Participants per team
    • Top 5 teams of the preliminary round will be qualified for final.
    • Questions will be related with technical background and current trends in the IT field

On the Spot fee payment can be done after registering through online(www.ictaac.tk) on or before 20.2.2018. The registration fee can also be paid in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Principal, Arul Anandar College, Karumathur” payable at Indian Overseas Bank, Karumathur, Madurai and send the same to the Principal. The registration fee includes conference kit, refreshment and working lunch.

  • The Paper should be based on original research work,yet to be published and not exceeding 6pages.
  • Menuscript must be prepared in IEEE format.
  • All submission will be peer-reviewed for originality,technical quality and novelty.
  • Papers will not be considered for presentation is plagiarized.
  • paper should be presented at the conference either by the author or co-author.
  • Extra for Co-author Rs 250/-.
