The Department of Computer Science and Applications has hosted National Level Webinar on "Deep Learning" on 25th September 2020 from 10.00AM to 12PM through Google Meet Online Platform. Mr. Jairaj, Lead Software Developer, Apollo Health care Service, Hydrabad, gave a mind-blowing presentation on Deep Learning with Python. The Speaker presented different concepts in Deep Learning, which helps the student to build a successful career in the contemporary technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning.

A State Level Intercollegiate Competition has been conducted every year in our department. Students from various colleges & universities actively participated and won prizes. We offer events such as Paper Presentation, Quiz, Dumb-C, Software Development, Web Development, Debugging through which student to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude. It also encourages students to adopt innovative techniques and develop their ideas and skills

To exhibit the technical skill of the students, the Department of Computer Science and Applications has organized a project presentation on April, 2020. This platform gave students some strength to their feathers.

The students are provided the opportunity to visit the Industry and know the practices in the Campus. Our students had visited many industries STPI Networks, Bangalore, Spectrum software solutions Pvt. Ltd., Kochi & OFS Software Solutions PvtLtd, Tidal Park, Chennai etc. This Industry Visit made the students exposed to Actual Working Conditions, Aware with Industry Practices, Increase Practical Awareness of Industry Sector, and Acquaint with Interesting Facts and Breath-Taking Technologies.

With the aim of building skilled professionals, the Department of Computer Science and Applications conducting conferences, seminars, workshops and FDPs on recent trends and technologies every year. These Programmes had professionals all the way from Industry to Institution, meeting all the heights in Technology and its advancement. The Conference had received 100+ papers, after strict scrutiny from the Committee 60+ could present/Publish their papers. Best papers were selected and awarded.

To provide a short refresher course on programming for problem solving & application development, we had organized FDP programme on "Data Science using R" and Android Application Development etc.
