★ Continuing the present teaching and research activities. ★ Constantly updating the teaching methods in teaching English as a second language to the disadvantaged sections of the society. ★ Creating opportunities for English faculty to participate and to present research papers in national/international level seminars/conferences. ★ Encouraging the faculty to publish a minimum of two research articles in a semester in UGC approved journals ★ Undertaking collaborative efforts with the language departments. ★ Organizing one national/international level seminar and one workshop in a year. ★ Enhancing the communicative abilities of the students by providing them opportunities outside the class. ★ Facilitating the students to use technology for brief communications and basic website searches for vocabulary acquisition. ★ Planning lecture series to students to develop their speaking skill. |
