» To upgrade the Department to Research Centre » To apply for a greater number of Funded Major and Minor Projects under various funding agencies of Research » To get Ph.D. Guideship for the faculty and focus on research in addition to teaching » To encourage the UG and PG students and faculty to equip themselves in subject arena by registering in more online courses like MOOC/NPTEL » To publish a greater number of papers/articles in Scopus / UGC care listed journals with good impact factor » To strengthen the infrastructural and research facilities of the Department to bring them at par with global standards » To establish close industry linkages for mutual benefit, MoUs between the Department and Industries or Research centers will be established. » To initiate Consultancy services to Industry and Research Institutes » To build a strong and dynamic alumni base to involve them in the development of Department activities. » Encouraging and directing the students to pursue Ph.D. at well reputed institutes or abroad. |
