The department has well equipped laboratories with the equipments for water, soil, feed and milk analysis. A separate Laboratory for Dairy Microbiology is available in the department to undergo Post Graduate and Research Programmes. The department is also provided with 5 acres of land to do agricultural field demonstration practical for the students. Apart from this various experimental units are maintained by the department to provide hands on experience on rearing, management and marketing of animal and animal products.
