Need of constituting the Admission committee

  • This committee has been formed to oversee the admission process of all departments.
  • This committee is responsible for undergraduate and postgraduate students' admissions.
  • This admission committee tracks everyday events by maintaining a database of pertinent information on the applications.

Responsibilities

  • To formulate the admissions policy within the framework of guidelines and regulations by government.
  • To prepare the bulletin of information / prospectus.
  • To review the fees structures.
  • To fix the application issue date and also last date.
  • To prepare the merit list and category-wise list for admission.
  • To prepare the department-wise selection list.
  • To send the selection communication to all the selected students.
  • To coordinate mailings, phone calls, and other communicating services with the college office.
  • To publish the advertisement for the admission details.
  • To guide the students and parents in making effective decisions.
  • To provide best counselling to students and parents who come to seek admission.
  • To guide the hostel admissions.
