Consumer Club

Introduction

Consumer Club is an organization designed specifically for creating awareness among the students regarding the consumer?s rights and privileges. This club has been started based on the recommendation of the government of Tamilnadu. Every year guest lectures were organized with the experts from legal, academic and social sector. Rallies were organized to create consumer awareness among the students.

Significant Activities 2019-2020

»   Organized the one day webinar on 20th July 2020, Dr. Jebamalai Vinanchiarachi, Principal adviser, Knowledge Management Associates,Austria (Present) delivered the key note address and highlighted his erudite sharing about Covid 19 and the Plight of Consumer.
»   Organized the awareness programme on 27th Feburary 2020, Ms. Chamundi Bose, Advocate, General Secretary, Bar Council Association, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, delivered the key note address and highlighted his erudite sharing about Consumer Protection.
»   Organized the awareness programme on 16th March 2018, Mr.C.P. Thiruchangu, Advocate, General Secretary, Bar Council Association, Madurai Bench of Madras High Court Consumer delivered the key note address and highlighted his erudite sharing about Consumer Protection.
