Department of Information Technology & Management

About the Department

The department B.sc Information Technology & Management was started in 2002. The introduction of Choice Based Credit System was introduced in 2003 and new pattern of CBCS was extended in 2008.The department motivates the students to become software professionals, Human Resource Manager, Chartered Accountant, Team Leader, Programmer, Marketing and Business Executives. The Department updates its syllabi frequently to attract young talents from all over the country. The department of IT & M provides chalk & talk method, OHP Presentation, Power Point Presentation and Audio Visual Communication. Offered by the department provides Experienced and Highly qualified faculty & well-equipped computer lab with Liquid Crystal Display Method to the students. The Healthy Practice of our Department includes Guest Lecture, Workshops, Seminars/Conference, Mentor Care, Remedial Coaching class, Aptitude Test, Industrial Visit to Software Industries and Techno Parks, In Plant Training.

The Department regularly encourages the students to compete in external competitions (Paper Presentation, Art from E-waste and etc.).
Parents meet are conducted to take the regular feedback about the progress of their overall development of the department.
In tutorial classes, students undertake group discussion, problems faced in lectures room, quiz, class test, work exercises, in supervision of a faculty. These measures improve the knowledge in the subject and appropriate planning of any work for achieving the objective.
