AUTONOMY

Arul Anandar College with 17 years of existence was one of the youngest colleges in Tamil Nadu to become autonomous in 1987. The impetus from the autonomous status was fast and steady, especially in curriculum design and development. A student-centric standard curriculum reflecting the philosophy of pioneers and national relevance was framed in consultation with renowned academicians and pedagogues. By granting the status of Autonomy, the University Grants Commission paved way for the college to visualize integrated rural higher education for the holistic development of the marginalized rural students with
