ALUMNI

From the Director’s Desk

The Arul Anandar College Alumni Association (AACAA) has its establishment since 1987 when the college became an autonomous institution. The association plays an instrumental role in bridging the alumni with the institution through the coordinated efforts of its executive committee members. The objective of this association is to network with the alumni across the globe and to instigate in them, the sense of commitment, spirit of oneness, effective participation and contribution for the growth of the college. The strenuous and persistent efforts of AACAA in recent times have increased the nexuses of the alumni with the college to a greater extent.
AACAA provides opportunities for the alumni to associate themselves with the alumni of other Jesuit institutions through Jesuit Alumni Association of Tamil Nadu (JAAT), Jesuit Alumni Association of India (JAAI) and World Union of Jesuit Alumni (WUJA). The General Body meeting is convened every year on 2nd October which reunites the alumni from various places to share their nostalgic memories. The significant amendments and the election of office bearers also take place during the meeting. The alumni associate themselves with the college at various capacities and have made extensive contributions to the student community through knowledge sharing and scholarships. They have also rendered support for the amenities of the college such as Health Center, Student Service Center and many other student support endeavours for the rural village development of this area along with the Arul Anandar College Extension Services.
Presently, AACAA has seven chapters across the State and has also planned to inaugurate chapters at both national and international levels in the coming years to augment the bonding with the alumni across the world. The alumni of our college are volunteering several initiatives to promote the academic excellence, training and employment opportunities of the students. The selfless service and contributions of the alumni are escalating at recent times and as the Director of AACAA, I invite you all to become an embodiment of this association and become the ambassadors of Jesuit values.
